COOKIES

Cookies notice.

What cookies and tracking technologies we use, why, and how to change your mind. We follow the UK PECR rules and UK GDPR — non-essential cookies are off until you say otherwise.

Two types of cookie

Strictly necessary cookies are required for the site to work. They store no personal data and you can’t turn them off — without them, things like signed-in admin sessions and the accessibility-settings panel wouldn’t work.

Non-essential cookies (analytics, advertising, third-party embeds) only run if you opt in via the cookie banner that appears the first time you visit. You can change your mind any time by clearing your cookies, or by clicking “Cookie preferences” in the footer.

What we set

Cookie preferences

The cookie banner that appears on your first visit lets you accept all, reject all, or manage preferences by category. If you’d like to change your mind later, click the “Cookie preferences” link in the site footer at any time.

Browser-level controls

Modern browsers let you block or delete cookies entirely from settings. Each browser does it differently:

Note: blocking cookies entirely can break some site features (signed-in admin sessions, accessibility settings persistence).
