How to increase the size of text and images in your web browser

 

If you use the Windows Operating System:

Internet Explorer

(Note: Internet Explorer is outdated and no longer actively supported. It may create accessibility and compatibility problems itself and we recommend using using one of the other freely available internet browsers in this guide.)

Using a Keyboard:

  • To ZOOM IN, hold the "Ctrl" key and press the "+" (plus) key.

  • To ZOOM OUT hold the "Ctrl" key and press the "-" (minus) key.

  • To return to the default size hold “Ctrl” key and press the “0” (zero) key.

Using a Mouse:

  • Open the "View" menu, select "Zoom," and then select "Zoom In", or

  • To ZOOM IN, hold the “Ctrl” key and scroll your mouse wheel UP.

  • To ZOOM OUT, hold the “Ctrl” key and scroll your mouse wheel DOWN.

Clear history to reset the font size and zoom level:

If you clear your Safari history, websites will go back to their default font size or zoom level.

In the History menu, select Clear History. Then click Clear History again.
